We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the Young Adults Ministry Transformation on the Feast of Pentecost, June 23rd, and ask for your prayers that God would help us serve the growing and evolving community of young adults we are blessed to have among us. Last weekend we concluded our two-week campaign to introduce the main aspects of the transformation: a new long-term vision, organizational structure, and a Call to Serve. With the prayers and blessings of our priests, four leadership teams have been established to create the Young Adults Ministry for the coming ministry year: Programs: Responsible for the integrated movement of The Truth, THE LIFE, Family of Life, and Young Couples programs toward the vision, and to provide a setting for ministering to the young adults community. Ministry: Responsible for the segmentation of and reach to the whole young adults community, ensuring that no one “falls through the cracks”. Administration: Responsible for providing support to the Ministry through data, technology, and communication. Events: Responsible for the integrated movement of the annual January Retreat, spiritual days, fundraisers, and other events toward the vision, and to provide another setting for ministering to the young adults community. The directors of the teams are in the process of defining their goals and finalizing their respective teams, and we have initiated a general Call to Serve.  or

Below are the announcements that were read During the Liturgy, please share, God Bless! After the Divine Liturgy the youth are invited for breakfast downstairs. Tomorrow Easter Sunday at 1:00 PM will be our Sunday school celebration at Woodward Church. On Wed May 8 will celebrate in the Divine Liturgy the Feast of St Mark the founder of Christianity in Egypt and all Africa. The coming Sat will be the second Sat of the month. We will have our family monthly meeting after the Divine Liturgy. The coming Sunday will be the Mothers day and we will have a gathering in 60th Place Church downstairs after the second Divine liturgy. The Church still has loans of $ 145,000. With your prayers and contributions, we will be able to pay off these loans and start renovating 60th Place Church. When you leave the Church tonight, please do not stand in the street and talk. Also regarding the noise, please keep in mind that we should not disturb our neighbors while they are sleeping. – Again God bless, Truly He is Risen –  Ekhristos Aftonf!
