His Holiness Pope Tawadros II has established a new diocese called the Diocese of New York and New England. His Grace Bishop David, our general Bishop, will be the Diocesan Bishop of this new diocese. It includes the states of New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. His Holiness and the Holy Synod will enthrone him in this new diocese in November 16-17. The celebration in New York will be on Sat Dec 7. The coming Sat Oct 12, HG Bishop Besada, Bishop of Akhmim will pray the Divine Liturgy. After the Liturgy there will be the monthly family meeting on the second Sat of every month at 12:00 noon in Woodward Church.

The Fishermen service courses will start the coming Sat on Oct 12. This course is open to all people who want to serve; trips, spiritual days, summer camp, kitchen, visiting the sick, visiting the elderly and special cases like addicts. The course will be on the second and fourth Saturdays in Woodward Church from 12-2 PM. If you are interested, please talk to Mr. Sameh Mikhail for registration.
