- Today, CIANA (Center for the Integration and Advancement of New Americans) representatives, are coming after the second Divine Liturgy in 60th Place Church in the basement to help in the area of public benefits (Medicate, Medicare, Medical insurance programs, food stamp, wic, public assistance, SSI, ……..). - Today HG Bishop David has been enthroned on the Diocese of New York & New England by the Hands of HH Pope Tawadros II in St Mark Cathedral in Cairo.
- Many people gave the Church new or light used clothes to be sent to Egypt or to the limited income people here, however the Church does not have the ability to distribute these clothes. Therefore, we ask your help to take any clothes that you see suitable to be distributed, either here or to be send to Egypt. The clothes are available free under the canopy of 60th Place Church after the second Divine Liturgy.
- On Thursday Nov 28, Thanksgiving Day, we will have a spiritual day in Woodward Ave Church. The day will start with the Divine Liturgy 9:00-11:00 AM, light breakfast, Lecture about Thanksgiving and ends with the lunch together. If you want to share in the breakfast or the lunch, please talk to Mr. Malak Ebraheem in the Kitchen.
The Philippines have been struck with the most powerful Typhoon in history. It destroyed many islands, killed a minimum of 10,000 persons, and caused millions of victims to suffer. We share our prayers with our brothers and sisters there. However, If you want to contribute to this disaster, please contribute on the Red Cross website.
