The Coptic Orthodox Church that presented many martyrs over the centuries, proved that she is still “the mother of martyrs”.
The faith, courage, valor and steadfastness of our martyrs in Libya is a lesson for all of us. Therefore, we invite all to a ceremony honoring them on Thursday, February 19th from 7-9 pm in Archangel Michael & Saint Mina church in Staten Island.
The prayers will be led by H. G. Bishop David and representatives from the Catholic, Greek and sister churches.
- HG Bishop David will have a prayer night on Thursday Feb 19 from 7-9 pm in Archangel Michael & Saint Mina church in Staten Island, for the 21 Martyrs who were slaughtered by ISIS in Libya.
- The prayers will be led by H. G. Bishop David and representatives from the Catholic, Greek and sister churches.
- Bishop David request the presence of the Clergy and the congregation.
