My husband Brad is a finalist for an EXCELLENT opportunity in Dallas, TX, which would be a major move for us from Florida. (We’re in the Panhandle which is very depressed economically; good opportunities are quite sparse). Brad is a very hard worker with an extremely strong work ethic, yet is vastly undervalued at his present job where he has been a faithful employee for 8 years.
Neither of us is from Florida, & we want to go somewhere with a much better economy & lifestyle (culturally speaking, not materialistically) than our current area. We’re newlyweds & our separate apartment leases have expired and, either way, we have to move & only want to move once! Plus, I have a job I want desperately to be able to leave (I am a teacher in a prison) & this Dallas opportunity would be a positive move for my career endeavors, too.
